Assistant Project Manager

The Assistant Project Manager’s role is to assist with the planning, organization, and management of the day to day operations, as well as any other responsibilities that the Project Manager sees fit. This can include acquiring resources and coordinating the efforts of team members and third-party contractors or consultants in order to deliver projects according to plan.

-          Prepare time, cost and labor estimates for construction projects
-          prepare qualified subcontractor bid list
-          Attend pre-Bid meetings and or site visits
-          Provide quality take offs
-          Obtain bids from vendors and subcontractors and confirm scopes
-          Prioritizes paperwork and submittal process
-          Maintains material delivery status
-          Archives contact records
-          Sets up the initial paperwork flow
-          Assists admin assistant in managing project files
-          Assists the superintendent in quality control
-          Works with the superintendent in the formulation of the project plan
-          Maintains communication with subcontractors
-          Submit RFI’s and submittal tracking

-          2 - 5 years of experience with a commercial general contractor a plus       
-          Project lead experience
-          Proficient in Microsoft office
-          Experience with estimating required
-          Experience with tenant fits outs/renovations and restaurants preferred
